Decorative Beaded African Shield on Stand (18 in.) – White & Black SP30M6

Uniquely crafted, high-end decorative shield approximately 18 inches in diameter and approximately 18 inches high on the stand.

This piece is hand-carved from Kola wood, enhanced with black & white glass beads and adorned with cowrie shells. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, imported from Africa, and handmade by a group from Cameroon in the tradition of the Tikar tribe. Originally a defensive weapon, these pieces are now used decoratively as symbols of status and wealth.
